Just some questions Current mood: contemplative

I know it's the holidays and I really don't mean to bring anything down, but there are a couple of questions I really need to just throwout there in written form...
1. How do you know when something is worth getting excited about?
2. Is it really possible that I have a jinx on me? Like one of those jinxes where when I talk about something I'm excited about, it means that it is never actually going to happen?
3. Does anyone else think that Matt Nathanson pretty much should have been more popular than John Mayer?
4. Did you know that there are actually people named scott running around with myspace names like Scotty 2 Hotty...and I think it's for real, not in the ironic kind of funny sense?
5. Why can't every channel play Charlie Brown Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life all December long? If radio channels can completely dedicate themselves to Christmas music, then I think t.v.should do the same thing...except for Thurs. nights, then I would like to watch The Office and some good-old holiday blood spatter on C.S.I.
6. I'm pretty serious about being on a reality television show and the only appealing one is The Amazing Race because...well because it's AMAZING! Is anyone interested in partnering with me? Here are your qualifications...A) You MUST be able to drive standard (and on the other side of the road should the situation arise) B)If you could speak Spanish, that would be awesome..I might be able to make it through the French speaking countries, but let's face it, Spanish is so much more useful, something I wish I had known in 9th grade C) You CANNOT be identified on t.v. as a "male model", "beauty queen","suburban mom" or "dungeon master". I'm sorry, I know these rules are strict, but trust me, if you do agree to be my partner, we'll kick some global ass!
7. In a related line of thinking, why is it that The Amazing Race hasn't yet done a challenge where you have to find U.B.L? I mean, I figure that maybe the army/marine/special ops teams maybe just don't have that much pull...maybe if they had t.v. cameras following them, this whole thing could be cleared up by now.
8. Do you really think that J.K. Rowling is going to kill off Harry Potter in the seventh and final installment? That's just way way way too much to bear, so I guess that me and Stephen King finally have something we agree on!
9. Is anyone else excited for the new season of Beauty and the Geek, the most important social experiment of our time (you think I'm joking...)? Here's another quick question, why don't they make it so that the geeks are girls and the guys are the really hot ones? Is it because America is that afraid of unattractive women, I don't know, like the Fox Channel says I just report, you decide!
Alright, that's all I can think of for now. If you have any answers to any of these questions (especially Harry Potter and the Amazing Race) please feel free to respond! Thanks as always,
-Riss
